14 things to declutter from your bedroom right now
As the place where you start and end your day, your bedroom should feel peaceful and tidy so you can rest and recharge with ease. But if it’s currently a mess, that can directly affect both of those things. That’s why it’s so important to declutter and organize your bedroom.
We highly recommend setting a timer for an amount of time that’s manageable for you — whether it’s 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour — and seeing what you can get done. When the timer is up, stop decluttering! Take the items that don’t belong and return them to where they belong or sort them into your outboxes. Throw any trash away.
Look in and around side tables and nightstands, on and inside your dresser, consoles, armoires, closets, hooks, storage racks, vanity tables, open shelves, under and around the bed, inside a storage ottoman or bench, and anywhere your clothes tend to pile up, such as on a chair or in a corner of the room. Not sure what should go? Start with the list below.
