Clementine Douglas thought Calvin Harris' collaboration request was a hoax at the first.

The EDM superstar messaged the British singer/songwriter on Instagram to ask her to sing on his track Blessings, which was released in May and was a hit all over the globe.

Clementine, 33, initially thought she was being catfished when Calvin, 41, slid into her DMs on Instagram.

When asked if she thought it could be a hoax, she said: "Yeah! It was mad because he just messaged me on Instagram out of nowhere. I wasn't expecting it.

"I just saw the message pop up and I couldn't read it for a few hours because I was like, 'Oh my God, what's it going to say?' And then when I read it, I was just like, 'Yeah!' Then he sent me the track and I wrote it in a couple of days."

Clementine insists Calvin was a dream to work with because he's just such a "lovely guy".

Speaking to BANG Showbiz at Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard at The O2 on Sunday (07.12.25), she said: "He's so lovely. Just a proper lovely guy, really just down to earth."

Clementine has also worked with MK, Dom Dolla, Sigma, David Guetta and Chase and Status during her career but there is one artist who is at the top of her list for a collaboration.

When asked who her dream collaborator is, Clementine answered without hesitation: "Stevie Wonder!"

Clementine also spilled that she will be releasing her own solo LP in 2026 and she can't wait to get the album finished and out.

She said: "I'm putting a lot of focus into my solo project. So in 2026 my hopes and dreams are just to get my album out."

On Sunday, Capital's Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard hosted an array of artists, including Kylie Minogue, Jessie J, Alex Warren, Cat Burns, Louis Tomlinson and more.
