NEW YORK — Ireland Baldwin wished hospitalized Perez Hilton well on Wednesday, saying he deserved good health despite being “a despicable human being” for lampooning her family and gossiping away her childhood.

Hilton, a self-styled celebrity insider and reality star who started out as Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., was hospitalized Tuesday after apparently cutting on himself with a knife during a TikTok live stream from his Miami home.

Fans had scrambled to call 911 upon seeing a nude, blood-covered Hilton committing what looked like “acts of self-harm on social media,” Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday night.

Baldwin, the 30-year-old daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and former supermodel and actress Kim Basinger, was one of many subjects of the celebrity blogger’s acerbic commentary since he famously started skewering in the 2000s. But Baldwin said publicly picking on her even during her childhood went beyond the pale.

“Perez Hilton has publicly humiliated my family for years, sexualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child), made unforgivable comments about people in my family, drew jizz coming out of my mom & friend’s mouths, and has always been a despicable human being,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “But his children deserve better and a healthy father, and I am so sad for all of them. I hope he gets the help he needs and heals.”

The Cuban American Perez remained hospitalized on Wednesday, and his family posted a brief update on his eponymous website.

“Many of you have reached out with concern for Perez, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers,” read the statement, signed by “Perez Hilton Team & Family.” “We can confirm that Perez is receiving medical care, and our family’s focus right now is on his well-being.

“We kindly ask that you respect Perez’s privacy, as well as the privacy of his family, during this difficult time,” the statement continued. “If and when we are able to share any updates, we will do so with everyone as soon as we can. Thank you for your compassion, understanding, and continued support.”
