NEW YORK — A former Howard Stern employee must honor the terms of the nondisclosure agreement (NDA) that was part of her deal with the shock jock and his wife.

Executive assistant Leslie Kuhn hoped to void that contract, which she said she never signed. A New York State Supreme Court judge ruled the 2025 deal is valid because the plaintiff consented to the terms of the agreement as part of her job, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Kuhn also reportedly acknowledged in an email to another person employed by Stern’s One Twelve management company that she’d signed an NDA.

Kuhn was hired as a “The Howard Stern Show” officer manager in 2022. She was subsequently put on One Twelve’s payroll when Stern made her an executive assistant. Her duties included tending to Stern’s wife’s cat rescue and fostering operation in the couple’s Southampton home. Kuhn alleged that immense pressure from that group made her tenure untenable. She was fired for cause in February.

Stern reportedly agreed not to enforce a 2022 confidentiality agreement that Kuhn also challenged. He accused the former employee of trying to squeeze money out of him in exchange for her silence. A judge refused the 72-year-old radio personality’s request to sanction Kuhn, whom the court didn’t believe acted in bad faith by pursuing legal action.

Kuhn sued the Sterns claiming her reputation was damaged by her termination. That case was dismissed last week, according to Entertainment Weekly. The plaintiff estimated her damages from working under hostile conditions to have been in excess of $2.5 million.
