What it’s about: An indie filmmaker reviving a slasher franchise has a spooky, spiritual, empowering encounter with the film's star at an abandoned summer camp.

The kid attractor factor: This is a cerebral and metaphysical exploration of slasher movies and sexual exploration — not much appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Feel it, don't think it.

Violence: Some excessive and bloody slasher movie scenes.

Language: Some swearing and strong language.

Sex: Nudity and sexual scenes and discussion of sex onscreen.

Drugs: Onscreen marijuana smoking.
