'SUPERGIRL'

Rated PG-13 for sequences of strong violence, action, language, and smoking.

What it’s about: The story of Kara Zor-El, drifting out to the outer planets of the universe and coming back to herself and her purpose.

The kid attractor factor: Kids will be drawn to the superhero story and characters

Good lessons/bad lessons: Always be good — that doesn't mean you can't be tough, and you don't have to be nice, but always look out for those more vulnerable than you.

Violence: Some action and fighting, killing, etc. Not gory.

Language: Some strong language.

Sex: Threats of sexual violence.

Drugs: Drinking and smoking

Parents’ advisory: A bit mature for kids, but OK for older kids and teens.

'JACKASS: BEST AND LAST'

Rated R for extremely dangerous stunts and crude material throughout, graphic nudity, pervasive language and sexual material.

What it’s about: The fifth and final installment in the "Jackass" franchise sees even more outrageous stunts and pranks, and a look back at the greatest hits and unseen footage from over the years.

The kid attractor factor: Teens will be drawn to the wild subject matter.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Pain is temporary but friendship is forever.

Violence: Harrowing, dangerous and painful situations.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: Frequent graphic nudity (male).

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This one is one of the sweetest "Jackass" movies but it's for teens and up!
