Jenni 'JWoww' Farley has got married.
The Jersey Shore star and Zach Carpinello invited 50 of their friends and family to what they believed was a special screening of her upcoming film Nanny Cam on Wednesday (24.06.26) - but their guests were stunned when they walked up the red carpet at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, to discover they were actually attending the couple's wedding.
Jenni told People magazine: "We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on the people who matter most to us.
"We weren't interested in throwing the biggest wedding possible. We wanted an unforgettable moment shared with our closest family and friends. The goal was creating memories, not creating a production.
"More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us. The surprise element, the family focus, and the intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful...
"We wanted the day to feel personal, memorable, and full of joy, and there's something really special about sharing such a meaningful surprise with the people we love most."
The guests were welcomed by the local mayor, who doubled as the officiant for the ceremony and announced the surprise, and the happy couple admitted seeing the shock of their loved ones was what they had looked forward to the most.
Speaking to the outlet ahead of the wedding, the couple said: "We've spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details, and building the surprise. Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they're attending a special screening for Nanny Cam to realising they're actually at our wedding will be a moment we'll never forget."
The pair chose the restaurant as their location because they wanted to "focus on the moment itself instead of the pressure and expense that often comes with weddings." And the venue was decked out with candles and florals, in a red and rose gold colour scheme.
The 41-year-old bride - who has Meilani, 11, and Greyson, 10, with ex-husband Roger Mathews - explained: "The overall inspiration was a modern Beauty and the Beast fairy tale with a dark romance twist.
"Ruby became the thread that tied everything together. From my ruby ring and Zack's new rose gold wedding band featuring rubies, to our color palette and the gifts we incorporated for our children, the ruby represented love, family, and the next chapter of our story...
"We wanted our guests to enjoy an elevated restaurant experience with great food, cocktails, and an intimate atmosphere that felt more like a family celebration than a traditional wedding reception."
Instead of a traditional walk down the aisle, Zach appeared in the venue as The Name's Bond... James Bond by David Arnold played, while Jenni opted for Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey, the same song her pal Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi chose for the first dance at her wedding to Jionni LaValle.
Jenni said: "It's a tribute to my best friend."
The couple - who got engaged on Jenni's birthday in 2021 - were keen to involve the bride's children in the celebration, with the wrestler giving his new stepdaughter a ruby birthstone ring and his stepson a soccer-themed gift.
The pair said: "This wedding is about our family, not just the two of us. We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love story but also the family we've built together over the last seven years."
Jenni and Zach plan to start married life by travellign to Italy and Switzerland with a group of close friends.
After that, they are looking forward to "more family adventures, continued growth together, and creating a lifetime of memories with our children, family, and friends."
