Rick Ross to perform with orchestra and choir for anniversary concert

DETROIT — Rick Ross will perform — with an orchestra and a choir — when he celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut album "Port of Miami" at the Fox Theatre on July 18, venue officials announced Wednesday.
Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster, and presales start at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The concert, billed as a "black tie experience," will feature Ross performing with the Renaissance Orchestra and the Sainted Trap Choir.
The show mirrors Jeezy's 2025 concert at the Fox, in which he performed with an orchestra to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101."
"Port of Miami" was released in August 2006 and features the singles "Hustlin'" and "Push It."
Ross' last Detroit concert was in March 2025 at Little Caesars Arena. Ross also performed Claressa Shields to the ring during her fight at Little Caesars Arena in July 2025.
