Kelly Ripa's "awkward" hands are why she regrets not having flowers in photos from her and Mark Consuelos' $179 Las Vegas wedding.

The move is the only thing the 55-year-old actress would change about their 1996 elopement.

She said during Friday's (12.06.26's) episode of Live with Kelly and Mark: "I'm still sorry we didn't spring for flowers, because I always think my hands look awkward.

"Flowers are extra. And, you know… somebody didn't want to spring for flowers.

"The one photo that I never show is the [one] where I'm awkwardly posing with my hands because I don't have flowers. It's a very awkward photo."

She and Mark, 55, discussed how pop megastar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, both 36, reportedly splashed out $3 million to rent out Madison Square Garden in New York City for their three-day nuptials in July.

And Kelly and Mark joked that the pair could have saved a fortune by picking their $179 wedding package, which covered everything except flowers.

She said: "I'm going to save you two a fortune. Chapel of the Bells. You go in. You're in, you're out."

Mark added: "Less than a couple hundred bucks, probably even now still. I'm not sure how much it is. And those marriages stick."

Kelly noted: "Yeah. We've been married [for] 30 years. You can go in there in the middle of the night, no one has to know anything, you know what I mean?"

She then quipped: "And then throw your afterparty at Madison Square Garden."

However, Kelly and Mark's parents were unhappy that they eloped - a year after they met on the set of All My Children, where they played on-screen love interests, Hayley Vaughan and Mateo Santos.

In 2024, Kelly said: "None of our parents like the fact that we eloped. They [hated] that.

"Spoiler alert: if you're planning on eloping, your parents will hate that."

Riverdale alum Mark said it took their parents "10 years" to accept their elopement, eventually appreciating the cash they saved by not forking out for a big wedding.

In 2021, Kelly - who has Michael, 29, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 23, with her spouse - credited "love and sexy time" as the secret to their long-lasting marriage.

Appearing together on Live when she hosted with 51-year-old Ryan Seacrest, Mark replied: "Not everything. Not everything!"

Kelly jokingly responded: "Just about almost everything."

Mark then quipped that "sexy time" is his "stress reliever".
