What it’s about: A Special Forces Army veteran and his combat dog fight to endure the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash.

The kid attractor factor: This is more of an adult drama with dangerous and emotional situations, but kids might be interested in the dog story.

Good lessons/bad lessons: The relationships we have with animals are so special.

Violence: Some perilous and dangerous situations resulting in injury and bloody images.

'PRIMETIME'

Rated R for disturbing sexual material, graphic nudity, some violent content, and language.

What it’s about: A depiction of the early 2000s TV phenomenon "To Catch a Predator," and the incident that led to its demise.

The kid attractor factor: This is an edgy, serious dark dramedy about child sexual abuse — not for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Sometimes ruthless ambition and focusing on the wrong things leads one to lose their empathy.

Violence: Guns, a suicide, etc.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: References to sexual abuse, sex with minors, sexual language, graphic male nudity.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too mature for kids. OK for mature teens only.
