NEW YORK — “Saturday Night Live” standouts and Staten Island natives Pete Davidson and Colin Jost are hosting a one-night only comedy show on the Staten Island Ferry the pair purchased in 2022.

Videos advertising the Sept.17 show posted on Tuesday show both comics promoting the event sponsored by Snapple. The vessel will be called “The Snapple Island Ferry” on the night of the event.

Jost said he and Davidson will be joined by special guests, but didn’t reveal any names in the teaser he recorded.

“We’re going to have a show and we’re going to introduce different comedians with lines such as ‘ladies and gentlemen’ please welcome … person,'” he said.

Jost filmed his promotion in front of a photo of the luxury ocean-liner the RMS Lusitania, which was sunk by the German navy while traveling from New York to England in 1915. He expressed confidence his ferry’s comedy night will end on a happier note.

A limited number of tickets for the show will become available on Thursday at 3 p.m. Giveaways will continue through Sept. 8.

“That’s right, we’re throwing a free comedy show with Snapple on the boat,” Davidson said.

He added that while the Staten Island Ferry usually takes commuters to work, the decommissioned John F. Kennedy Staten Island Ferry he and Jost spent $280,000 to buy at an auction won’t be going anywhere.

Jost, who worked as a reporter for the Staten Island Advance, began writing for “Saturday Night Live” in 2005. He remains with the show and co-hosts its Weekend Update segment with Michael Che.

Davidson appeared on the long-running comedy sketch program from 2014 to 2022.
