Gal Gadot doesn't make Tom Cruise's Christmas cake list

Gal Gadot has never received Tom Cruise's famous Christmas cake.
The Top Gun actor is renowned for his festive delivery of a sweet coconut treat, with various co-stars over the years expressing their delight at the annual gift, but the 41-year-old actress - who appeared in Tom's 2010 film Knight and Day - had never heard of the tradition.
Appearing on Armchair Expert, Gal was asked by the podcast's host, Dax Shepard: "Have you gotten a cake from him?"
The 41-year-old actress shook her head, prompting Dax to look at co-host Monica Padman and add: "Okay, maybe we shouldn't have brought that up.
"Never mind, there's no cake."
Gal replied: "What cake? He makes cakes?"
Dax explained: "He sends the same cake to everyone."
Monica exclaimed: "Not everyone!"
The trio laughed as the CHiPS actor explained Tom tends to gift the cake to "a large percentage" of the people he has worked with, but Gal insisted she didn't know the Mission: Impossible star that well.
She said: "I worked with him for one night. Tom, it's fine! It's okay, I can take it."
But while the Runner actress continued to insist she didn't mind, Dax and Monica appealed to Tom to add the star to his gift list.
Staring at the camera, Dax said: "Tom, let's get Gal the cake!"
Monica added: "Gal needs a cake. I need a cake."
But Gal claimed she didn't want the cake.
She said: "I don't like cakes, it's fine. I like chocolate."
Dax, 51, admitted he had never received a cake himself but had enjoyed sampling the gift when a friend received one last year.
He said: "It's a fun thing in Hollywood, basically in your friendship circle the goal is to know someone who gets the cake and then go try it.
"Which I got to do last year."
A host of stars have praised Tom's delicious Christmas cakes, including Michelle Monaghan, who was added to the recipient list after working with him on three Mission: Impossible films.
When asked if she gets a Tom Cruise cake, she told The Independent newspaper: "Of course I get the Tom Cruise cake. I get it every year and I love it. ... It's annual and it's so serious!
"It's coconut and it comes with a little ornament on it, because it's sent during the holidays. And it says, you know, 'warm greetings, Tom Cruise'.
"And it is so moist, so dense, and just the most unbelievably delicious cake you've ever eaten in your life."
Kirsten Dunst has been on the Cruise cake list since starring alongside him as a child actress in the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire.
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she explained: "[Tom] gives me a cake every Christmas. We call it the Cruise cake at my house. It's the best coconut cake I've ever had in my life."
However, Kirsten now has two Tom Cruise cakes to get through every year as her husband Jesse Plemons went on to make the list after working with Tom on the 2017 movie American Made.
Other stars who get cakes from the Hollywood superstar include Tom's Top Gun: Maverick co-star Glen Powell.
He opened up about the baked goods during an appearance on Jennifer Hudson's talk show, admitting he throws an annual "Cruise Cake Party" to share it with his friends and family.
Glen said: "It is the most delicious cake you've ever had. My friends who have tried it, they love it so much that they hit me up right around December 1.
"'Hey, has it arrived yet?' So now I have a party at my house where I'll have the Cruise cake. It's my 'Cruise Cake Party.' And I'll invite people over to try a bite or two ... [they] can't get greedy. I really have to limit people. I can't let them come back for seconds."
