'MUTINY'

Rated R for strong/bloody violence, and language.

What it’s about: It's "Die Hard" on a container ship! Jason Statham seeks vengeance and justice on the high seas.

The kid attractor factor: This is a bloody action film — not much appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Never let Jason Statham stowaway on your human trafficking ship.

Violence: Some bloody and brutal fights, but not the most extreme we've seen this year.

Language: Some swearing throughout.

Sex: Vague threats of sexual violence.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Too violent for kids. Fine for older teens.

'TONY'

Rated R for pervasive language, drug use, and sexual content/nudity.

What it’s about: A summer in a restaurant kitchen in Cape Cod, inspired by part of chef Anthony Bourdain's coming of age.

The kid attractor factor: This is more of an adult drama but there might be some appeal for teens.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Learn to be humble and work hard.

Violence: Some bar brawls and fights.

Language: Swearing and strong language throughout.

Sex: References to sex and a couple of sex scenes, with some nudity.

Drugs: Onscreen drug use including marijuana, cocaine and heroin.

Parents’ advisory: Mature for kids, but fine for teens.
