NEW YORK — “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie kept her eye on normalcy and the emphasis on joy Thursday as she shouted out daughter Vale’s 12th birthday on air and on Instagram.

“On this day, 12 years ago,” she wrote accompanying a trio of photos of her cradling her then-newborn daughter at the hospital alongside husband Mike Feldman. “I will never forget this joy.”

Guthrie also bday-bombed meteorologist Al Roker’s recitation of “Today” Show Plaza guests’ birthdays, popping in to say, “You know who else? My daughter, Vale! Happy birthday!”

The proud mom turned a tad introspective in her Instagram post.

“Happy birthday to my dearest Vale, growing up so beautiful, kind, soulful and wise,” Guthrie wrote, punctuated with a heart. “I thank God for you every day.”

Feldman, with a pic of toddler Vale kissing his cheek, wished her a happy birthday, adding that despite being a “young lady now” at 12, “you will always be my little girl.”

Guthrie and Feldman have been supporting their children as the disappearance of their grandmother, Savannah’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, remains unsolved. The 84-year-old family matriarch was snatched from her home in Tucson, Arizona, overnight on Feb. 1. The investigation has been ongoing but has only yielded more questions than answers.

Savannah Guthrie has pleaded with whoever is responsible or may know something to come forward, saying late last month “there’s always a way home” for her mother, seeking at the very least closure for the family’s “nightmare that will not end.” On Aug. 1 Guthrie marked the six-month anniversary of that dreadful day with a plea for answers.

She is determined not to let the tragedy cancel out the joy of living.

“I will not fall apart,” Guthrie told former “Today” co-host Hoda Kotb in an interview ahead of the former’s April return to the show. “I will not let whoever did this take my children’s mother from them. I will not let them take my joy.”
