NEW YORK — Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are putting their baby daughter first as they navigate their recent split.

“We are cooperatively coparenting our daughter, whose well-being remains our top priority, and we are fully committed to working together to give her love from both of us,” the former couple said in a joint statement to People, with a source separately confirming that they had reached a “joint agreement pertaining to their child.”

The news comes just two months after it was revealed that Hewitt and the "SNL" alum officially ended their relationship back in May. The breakup followed reports of turmoil between the two, many of them detailing how the couple was trying to work through things and do right by their 7-month-old daughter.

Shortly after news of their split made headlines, a source told People that Hewitt was feeling the “full mental load of motherhood.”

The insider added: “She’s talking about the day-to-day reality of raising her baby largely on her own while also trying to continue working and building stability for herself and her daughter.”

Hewitt and Davidson were first romantically linked back in March 2025, after they were caught by paparazzi out and about and getting cozy on several occasions. The couple revealed they were expecting their first child together later the same year, and welcomed Scottie Rose Davidson on Dec. 12, 2025. She was named for Davidson’s New York City firefighter father, Scott Matthew Davidson, who died in the 9/11 terror attack.

“Our perfect angel girl arrived,” Hewitt wrote on Instagram, announcing the arrival of her daughter. “My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”

Davidson has also raved about their daughter, calling fatherhood “f—ing awesome.”
