Cassie Ventura has left the United States in the wake of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial.

The 39-year-old singer gave evidence about the alleged abuse she had suffered at the hands of the disgraced rap mogul - who she was in a relationship with between 2007 and 2018 - during his sex trials crime last year, and new court documents have revealed she and her family have now relocated elsewhere.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Cassie said in a declaration for her lawsuit against male escort Clayton Howard: "I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.

"I am a citizen of the United States. I am not a resident of the State of California."

Cassie was living in New York during Combs' trial, and she said in her declaration that it would be easier for her to attend legal proceedings in the Big Apple, where her legal team are, rather than California, though the document didn't specify where she is living now.

In his lawsuit, Howard has accused Cassie and Combs of subjecting him to sexual abuse which left him with physical and psychological injury.

However, in the new declaration, Cassie claimed the escort sent her husband Alex Fine a supportive message in 2023 after she came forward with her allegations against the Bad Boy Records founder.

It stated: "I know your wife's truth is 100% valid as I'm sure you did as well, I would have come forward and I'm glad she got some form of Justice.!"

"A lot of what I saw really bothered me and because homie was f***ed up. But I knew she was in love and wouldn't leave despite being beaten up and punch in the chest in hotel rooms, choked and forced into s*** I don't wanna embarrass anyone with, I'm dam happy you saved her. ... I'm glad she got something probably not near what she deserves."

Diddy was ultimately found guilty of two counts of transportation and acquitted on the remaining charges and is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence.

When he was handed his sentence, the Me + You singer - who has daughters Frankie, seven, and Sunnie, three, and a 12-month-old son with Alex - bowed to "continue healing".

Her lawyer said in a statement: "While nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs, the sentence imposed today recognises the impact of the serious offences he committed.

"We are confident that with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue healing knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration for so many."

Diddy issued an apology to Cassie as he addressed the court for the first time in the moments prior to his sentence being handed out.

He said: "One of the hardest things that I've had to handle is having to be quiet. Not being able to express how sorry I am for my actions.

"I want to personally apologise again to Cassie Ventura for any harm or hurt that I've caused her - emotionally or physically."
