A source is denying claims by Pete Davidson’s ex Elsie Hewitt that she’s parenting their infant daughter without any financial help from the comedian.

An insider close to the “Saturday Night Live” alum, 32, told People Sunday that Davidson “has made himself extremely available and has provided full financial support. Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more.”

The source spoke out a day after the 30-year-old “exhausted” model said in a TikTok Saturday that her appearance was not currently top of mind, despite paparazzi sightings, “because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard.”

When asked by a commenter whether Hewitt meant she was “doing the financial part alone,” the new mom reportedly responded, “I am :),” though that remark has since been deleted.

She also sought “an assistant / mother’s helper / nanny type / basically right hand person” via Instagram Stories that day, adding that a successful candidate would be paid for the role.

Davidson and the “Turnt” actress’ romance was first confirmed in March 2025, with news of their pregnancy breaking that summer. Together, the couple welcomed daughter Scottie Rose in December.

An insider told People at the start of May that they were “trying to figure things out together” amid “issues” and “adjusting to parenthood.”

It’s unclear how long they’d been having relationship trouble, but the outlet reported Friday that Davidson and Hewitt had split, with a source adding that they were still “working on things.”

“There have been points where they’ve split and gotten back together,” they said.

The source that spoke with People in the wake of Hewitt’s video said Davidson “is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter.”
