Would-be “Bachelorette” Taylor Frankie Paul is taking to social media to speak out on what she calls her “twisted” relationship with ex Dakota Mortensen, amid their custody battle — which followed new domestic abuse allegations from both parties.

The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star, 31, unfurled a blockbuster Instagram post detailing her toxic dynamic with 33-year-old Mortensen, with whom she’s battling for full custody of 2-year-old son Ever. She doesn’t actually name Mortensen in the post.

Paul and Mortensen were recently granted permanent restraining orders against each other, following domestic violence allegations they each leveled in March, prompting Hulu to suspend production on the fifth “Secret Lives” season.

Paul, who is currently entitled to eight weekly hours of supervised parent time with Ever, said she is “doing … this out LOUD whether people like or not.”

“I hate that I am no longer myself. I hate that I stayed for so long. I blame nobody more than my own damn self, because how did I allow this for my kids and myself for so long? I’m sorry to THEM,” said Paul. “I’ve already admitted in court I’m fully NOT INNOCENT.”

Paul said that “none of it is okay, period” and she’s “been in survival mode for years with miscarriages, pregnancy, postpartum, and horrible betrayal with so many lies told which added to the trauma on my body physically, hormonally, mentally, and emotionally.”

Within a matter of days of Hulu’s move, ABC — also Disney-owned — pulled Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette,” in response to newly released footage from a 2023 domestic violence incident in which she hurled metal barstools in Mortensen’s direction, one of which hit her then 5-year-old daughter Indy.

Paul’s multiple charges, including those of felony domestic violence in the presence of a child and misdemeanor child abuse, were dismissed when she pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Her probation ends this August.

In her statement, Paul said that was why she’d long been “scared to call for help or tell anyone … which gave him MORE access to do whatever knowing I’d remain silent.”

Even after realizing Mortensen was “gaslighting” her, Paul said she “STILL want[ed] to be held by that same person. It’s twisted I know.”

“We’re both in the wrong,” said Paul. “What I can say is I didn’t want to ruin his life, call cops on him, take his child away or claim complete innocence that’s the difference between us.”

Though she and Mortensen both avoided domestic violence charges stemming from their most recent allegations, Utah authorities ordered both to undergo psychiatric evaluations. She has since been granted up to 8 weekly hours of supervised parent time. “Secret Lives” has since resumed production.
