Euphoria star Jessica Blair Herman has revealed the truth behind rumours of a feud between Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.

The Euphoria co-stars have been caught up in frenzied speculation suggesting they don't get along after they were not pictured together at the red carpet premiere for Euphoria's third season and Sydney was missing from a cast photo taken to promote the new Euphoria episodes, but Jessica has now insisted there has been absolutely "no drama" between the pair.

During an appearance on Fox 5's Good Day New York show, Jessica declared everyone on the set of Euphoria got along well, adding: "They really did. And I'm not just saying that."

She went on to add: "[There is] no drama. Really, they've created this beautiful working relationship and everyone wants to do the work, to come in and do the job."

However, Jessica explained Sydney Sweeney - who plays Cassie Howard - and The Drama star Zendaya - who plays Rue Bennett - are often separate on set because they are involved in separate Euphoria storylines and rarely film scenes together.

She said: "To be fair, when I was there, they're not sharing scenes. Their storylines are very separate, you're shooting on different days and stuff."

It comes after Zendaya indicated that Euphoria will come to an end after the forthcoming third season.

The acclaimed HBO series returned to screens earlier this month after a four-year hiatus and the 29-year-old actress has suggested that it will bring the show to its conclusion.

Quizzed on The Drew Barrymore Show if season three spells the end for Euphoria, Zendaya said: "I think so, yeah."

When Barrymore asked the question again, The Drama actress replied: "Yes, I think so." Zendaya added: "Rue taught me so much about life ... that crew has also seen me grow up. I owe so much to that show. Rue taught me so much about empathy and about redemption. She taught me a lot, and I'm very grateful for all of it."

The four-year delay in bringing the show back was partly caused by creator Sam Levinson's decision to jump the ensemble cast - which also includes Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Maude Apatow - forward five years so they are out of high school and into adult life.

Zendaya previously described how filming season three of Euphoria felt like "trying to get eight episodes in at once" because of her packed schedule - as she has roles in movies The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Dune: Part Three all still to come this year.

Asked what fans can expect from the new season, she told Variety: "I've seen a little bit, but gosh, it was a whirlwind.

"I did what I do in eight months in like four months, so I was just like - it was like trying to get eight episodes in at once. It just flew by for me! But I'm excited, I hope it turns out beautifully."
