Martin Short and Steve Martin are resuming their two-man show following the suicide death of Short’s 42-year-old daughter.

The pair will hit the road again on April 11 when their comedy performance heads to Savanna, Georgia, according to TMZ.

The funnymen paused their national tour after Katherine Short died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at her Hollywood Hills home on Feb. 23.

Their weekend performances in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and a Monday stop in Washington, D.C., have been postponed. Those shows are now scheduled to take place in September.

Katherine was the adopted daughter of Short and his wife, Nancy Dolman, who died from cancer in 2010. She walked the red carpet with her father at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in 2011. The pair also attended a pre-Emmys event in 2021.

A representative for Short told People after his daughter’s death that the family was “devastated by this loss” and wanted privacy.

“Katherine was beloved by all and will be remembered for the light and joy she brought into the world,” that spokesperson told People.

Production sources on Martin and Short’s “Only Murders in the Building” series told TMZ that Hulu program isn’t currently in production, but is expected to film as scheduled in London in a couple months.

That show has been nominated for 56 Emmy Awards and won seven times. Short was nominated for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series in 2025.
