PITTSBURGH - If your hands are feeling dry and cracked, it probably means you're doing your part to help fight the spread of COVID-19 by washing them for 20 seconds or using extra hand sanitizer. It also likely means you need a good moisturizer.

Three Pittsburgh beauty and skin care experts weigh in on some of their favorites and where you can buy them - without leaving self-isolation, of course.

--------

Liz Quesnelle is a licensed esthetician and owner of thegildedgirl.com. While she curates the creme de la creme of skin care products from around the world for her online beauty shop, one of her must-have moisturizers is Aveeno's Skin Relief Hand Cream.

Why she loves it: Aveeno uses in its products colloidal oatmeal, which functions as a skin protector and an anti-inflammatory agent.

Where to find it: Aveeno products are stocked in most major drug and grocery stores. CVS.com, Walgreens.com and Amazon have it for sale for less than $10.

--------

Jamie Sylves is the founder of wellness and beauty e-commerce site ClaraMaeJames.com, which specializes in clean beauty products. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, she held pop-up beauty events at local businesses. One of the most popular products on her site is the Naked Organic Body Butter by Organic Bath Co.

Why she loves it: It's made with shea butter that heals and hydrates dry, irritated skin. Plus, it's packed with soothing ingredients, including sunflower seed, jojoba and Argan oils, and is certified as organic. A little bit goes a long way, too.

Where to find it: Sylves carries this and other Organic Bath Co. products on her website. A 6.2-ounce container of the Naked Organic Body Butter is $29.

--------

Marianne Skiba, who owns Glam Earth Organic Boutique & Spa in Carnegie, worked for many years as a makeup artist in the film industry. She stocks in her brick-and-mortar location and online the same gentle, natural products she once used on the actors she worked with. One of her top picks is GOE (Garden of Eden) Oil by Jao Brands.

Why she loves it: It's super hydrating, thanks to a non-greasy formulation of 28 plant, fruit and flower oils and butters that's made in the U.S. It's semi-solid and works well on hands and feet. Pro tip: Run some through your hair to help tame flyaways.

Where to find it: Although Skiba's brick-and-mortar spa and boutique are temporarily closed because of the COVID-19 outbreak, she sells this and other products online at glam.earth. A 3-ounce tube of GOE Oil is $49.50.
