Fort Worth, Texas — Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” is officially in production for Season 3 in Fort Worth.

Paramount announced the news in a Thursday news release, which came a week after series star James Jordan shared a photo from the “Landman” set confirming that filming had started. The Paramount+ series is primarily filmed in Fort Worth, with additional photography across North Texas.

In addition to announcing filming, Paramount also confirmed which cast members are coming back for Season 3.

Here’s what to know.

—Ali Larter as Angela

—Sam Elliott as T.L.

—Jacob Lofland as Cooper

—Michelle Randolph as Ainsley

Finally, the one new cast member who’s been announced thus far is Michael Kelly as William Crockett, the leader of the largest oil management firm in the world.

[Editor’s note: Spoilers for “Landman” Seasons 1 and 2.]

“Landman” was co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”

Paramount did not detail what the “Landman” crew will get up to in Season 3, but going off what happens in the Season 2 finale, there’s some idea. In the finale, Tommy forms his own oil company — CTT Oil Exploration & Cattle — after being fired by Cami and hires multiple family members and past employees for his new venture.

It’s unknown when “Landman” Season 3 will be released. The previous two seasons premiered in November 2024 and November 2025, respectively. With filming underway on the new season, it’s unlikely the show will land in the same window.
