SEATTLE — Brandi Carlile, who’s been playing arenas across the U.S. on her The Human Tour, will postpone the upcoming U.K. and European leg for unspecified personal reasons.

In a social media post Friday, the Washington folk rock star said she would be rescheduling her European dates — originally slated to kick off in October — to next spring.

“I need to let you know that due to personal circumstances, I have no choice but to reschedule my UK and European tour from this fall to the spring,” Carlile said in the post. “I have been so profoundly anxious about this decision and I’m aware that this change may be disappointing and inconvenient for many of you, especially those of you who were planning on traveling internationally, but I am hoping this gives you all enough time to adjust any plans.”

“Thank you so much for your patience and understanding,” Carlile added. “I want nothing more than to see my friends across the pond and I have done everything in my power to avoid rescheduling this tour. I sincerely hope you’ll all come back and see me in the spring. I promise I will make it up to you and that it will be worth the wait!”

Representatives for Carlile did not provide comment by press time.

The updated U.K. and European tour has the artist making stops in Oslo, Norway; Paris; Manchester, England; London and other locations in March and April 2027.

This year, the 45-year-old brought back her popular Echoes Through the Canyon concert series at the Gorge Amphitheatre. She had taken a two-year hiatus from it, citing the need for a break in her busy schedule. In February, the singer-songwriter also appeared in the Super Bowl pregame show, performing a rendition of “America the Beautiful.”
