Nikki Bella shares health on twin Brie Bella's shoulder injury from WWE SummerSlam 2026 match

Brie Bella is still "in a lot of pain" after being hospitalized with a shoulder injury she sustained during her match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
The 42-year-old wrestler was seen clutching her right shoulder as she and her twin sister, Nikki Bella, teamed up to face Fatal Influence, formed of Jacy Jayne, 30, Fallon Henley, 31, and Lainey Reid, 27, at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Saturday (01.08.26).
Following the match - which the trio won - Nikki provided an update on Brie's condition.
She told Busted Open Radio: "She's doing OK. She is in a lot of pain. They are still determining what is going on. Brie will share that whenever. I've been told to 'zip it.'"
During a post-match press conference on Saturday, retired wrestler-turned-WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque, 57, revealed that Brie was taken to hospital to have her shoulder checked.
He said: "She is injured. I don't have an update yet. She got some treatment here, has been taken to the hospital to get some scans done.
"Don't have a clean answer on it yet. I know she hurt her shoulder. Seems pretty bad, but I don't have that answer yet. Hopefully we will soon, and it won't be as bad as we thought it was.
"But that's the nature of the game. We'll pivot accordingly for everything. It's unfortunate, I hate it, this part of the business."
On July 31, Brie - real name Brianna Danielson - said she wanted to "have fun with the audience" because it could be the "last time" she wrestled in Minneapolis.
The star explained to Us Weekly: "This run has been unlike any run we've both have ever done. I feel so comfortable, and … when you're so comfortable, and I'm looking at this as, 'I'm not gonna lie to myself. I'm not in denial. This is my last run.'
"It's, like, you're gonna go out there, and you're gonna have fun. I'm gonna make sure I take more moments having fun with the audience and looking at them because I don't know if it's the last time I'll be wrestling in the city."
Brie expected a "tough match" against Fatal Influence.
Speaking of Jacy (Taylor Grado), Fallon (Theresa Schuessler), and Lainey (Tylynn Register), Brie said: "These women are driven, they're strong, they're capable of so many things. Then, you put their personalities on top.
"It's why they're moving fast, and they're making names for themselves, and it's going to be a tough match at SummerSlam because we are looking at our younger selves. We're seeing these girls, and they're not going to give up, and they're going to make a name.
"We love it."
Nikki - real name Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace - added: "Coming back for a night, I was like, 'Oh, yeah, I feel like I'm back in our era of personality, strength, the fight, the grit.'
"They're incredible."
