Tom Holland becomes first 'Hot Ones' guest to vomit during taping

NEW YORK — Actor Tom Holland made history by vomiting during a taping of “Hot Ones.”
Holland and his “The Odyssey” co-star Jon Bernthal joined host Sean Evans to sample spicy hot wings on the popular YouTube interview show. The two actors, who also worked together on the not-yet-released film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” visibly struggled with the wings they sampled. But it was Holland who upchucked at the end of the program.
“Take a picture of it!” Bernthal shouted pointing at the floor near his colleague’s feet.
Evans told his guests that Holland may be the first guest to have puked in the show’s 11-year history.
“I love being the first,” the 30-year-old Englishman joked.
Holland and Bernthal began their visit to “Hot Ones” ready for a challenge.
“Not wasting any food today,” Holland said.
Bernthal agrees, but urged his pal to pace himself.
“You’re setting a precedent, a dangerous one, Tom,” Bernthal warned.
Holland admitted during the taping that the spicy wings had him feeling like he might lose consciousness.
Guests including Jim Gaffigan, Kevin Hart, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson have appeared on the show without losing their lunch.
Holland knows how to keep things inside when it comes to his personal life. Only recently has it come to light after months of speculation that he and actor Zendaya (who has yet to appear on “Hot Ones”) have been somewhat secretly married for months.
“That’s all you’ll get on that,” he said in a June Esquire interview when he let slip that his family didn’t worry about missing his rumored overseas wedding because they were all there.
