Megan Fox has clapped back at a troll who branded the 40-year-old mom of four's sultry goth angel photoshoot "unbelievably embarrassing".

On Thursday (16.07.26), the actress wowed her Instagram followers as she posted shots of herself posing in a sheer black bandeau bra, laced panties, and a veil, but one user on the social media platform was not impressed.

The critic penned in the post's comments section: "This s*** is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40 year old mom to be posting. 16 year old tumblr s*** (sic)."

Megan - who has sons Noah, 13, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, nine, with her 53-year-old ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green, as well as daughter Saga Fox-Baker, 16 months, with her 36-year-old former fiance, rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), real name Colson Baker - was quick to reply to the troll.

The Transformers star responded: "Which one of my exes is this. (sic)"

Megan's supporters also jumped to her defence in the replies, as one typed: "Fun fact, you can still be hot at any age."

A second fan wrote: "Ur the only embarrassing thing here (sic)."

And a third supporter reacted: "She's hot she can post this stuff until she's 100 if she wants. (sic)"

The Passion Play alum uploaded six shots from the photoshoot to her Instagram page, one being of herself with a golden halo over her head as she spread the sheer veil open to display the black bandeau bra and laced panties.

Others included the bombshell kneeling in front of a wooden chair in prayer, and a video in which Megan placed her right middle finger on her tongue as she held an active lighter in her other hand.

The Expend4bles cast member captioned the pulse-racing post: "Men would have them believe disobedience was eves vice, when it was her greatest virtue. (sic)"

Megan is considered a modern-day sex symbol, but the Jennifer's Body performer has struggled with that label from the public as she has battled body dysmorphia since the age of five.

Appearing on a March 2024 episode of 31-year-old Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, Megan said: "I think it adds pressure to a girl who, like I said, has body dysmorphia and didn't really ever see herself that way.

"And the things that I thought were my strengths - like my mind, my intelligence, my sense of humour - those things are not acknowledged, and instead I'm being acknowledged for something I don't identify with."
