Brittany Cartwright is protecting her "peace" after her ex Jax Taylor was romantically linked to their once-shared publicist, Lori Krebs.

The Valley star - who has five-year-old Cruz with her estranged husband - has vowed to speak "my truth" soon but insisted she needs to focus on her son for now.

Speaking to Zack Wickham on her When Reality Hits podcast, Brittany said: "All I'm going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth - the truth - on this matter very soon whenever I'm ready.

"As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. And as of right now, I'm just trying to protect my son and my peace and very soon I will be telling [my story]. I mean, I think everybody kinda understands what's going on."

Jax, 47, and Brittany were married for five years before they separated in 2024. He was recently spotted in an embrace with Krebs at the Hotel Mousai pool in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, while on a trip to celebrate his birthday.

Despite their split, Brittany has previously insisted that she and Jax try their best to remain cordial for Cruz's sake.

She told Us Weekly magazine: "Co-parenting is not easy. We still have our issues, but Cruz does not see any of that.

"There's no toxic anything in front of him, no arguments, nothing like that. Cruz comes first to both of us. I love him, his dad loves him, so he's always gonna come first, no matter what, and he's just thriving right now, and I'm so proud of him."

However, friends have insisted she felt betrayed when the photographs of Jax and Lori surfaced.

A source told Us Weekly: "Brittany had her suspicions for years but always trusted that Lori had her best interest at heart and believed she wouldn't do such a thing. There [was speculation] about them for years and Brittany always brushed them off. She always had Lori's back and trusted her. They were very good friends and did not have a typical professional relationship.

"Brittany felt extremely betrayed [by the pictures].

"It's very upsetting to her and she is sick to her stomach over it. She is shocked that photos surfaced and that they are out in public. Lori was with Brittany through dark days."

Jax and Lori have yet to comment on the pictures.
