Millie Bobby Brown loves being a 'young mum' for this reason

Millie Bobby Brown "loves" being a "young mum".
The 22-year-old actress and her husband Jake Bongovi fulfilled her "childhood dream" in August 2025 when they adopted a baby girl, and she enjoys having plenty of energy to "run around" with her daughter.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I love being a young mum because I'm able to run around and chase after her.
"And I love where I'm at right now."
Millie admitted she much prefers being at home to "out on the town", and she has developed a love of sewing while living on their farm in rural Georgia.
She added: "I never was the kind of girl to be, like, out on the town, you know? So it wasn't just in my nature.
"I love living on my farm. I love sewing."
However, being a mother has meant Millie is more tired of an evening, meaning she sometimes needs a coffee to keep her awake when she and Jake settle down to watch a movie.
She added: "I have to have a coffee because I typically fall asleep.
"It's not because of the film, it's because I'm tired. I'm a mum."
Earlier this month, Millie admitted she hopes to have a biological child in the future.
Speaking to Kylie Kelce on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the Enola Holmes 3 star said: "Always, always wanted to adopt.
"It was always part of my childhood dreams. Every time I was at home and I was, you know, five, six, years old, my parents were like, 'You had your baby dolls.' They were all adopted. I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant.
"It's not because I don't want that. Hopefully one day that's in my future."
The Stranger Things star has been working towards a veterinary technician degree through online studies, but before then, she studied social work and was particularly fascinated by the courses on adoption.
She said: "Adoption is love, adoption is forever."
"I loved the aspect of adoption in my social work courses… so meaningful and important. And then I also learned what it, you know, speaking to, and reading a lot about being a birth mother and what that journey is.
"So for me, my husband and I took a lot of time to focus on what that story and what that journey looks like. And then we embarked it."
