Child actor Daveigh Chase was reportedly living in an RV near Los Angeles’ Skid Row before she died Tuesday from meningitis and a blood infection.

The 35-year-old star of the 2002 movie “The Ring” and voice actor in the animated series “Lilo & Stitch” was living with her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood, according to TMZ.

That’s how she reportedly spent the final years of her life, which ended after she checked into a Los Angeles hospital, where Hernendez claimed she also battled septic issues.

People close to Chase were said to have become concerned about her health when her weight dropped under 100 pounds. Friends had been looking for her in downtown Los Angeles, to no avail.

She fell on rough times that included a 2017 arrest after she was accused of fleeing the scene after leaving a dying man outside of a hospital. Chase wasn’t suspected of being involved in his death, but was reportedly wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Chase said in a 2019 chat with Interview magazine that her hair once caught on fire when she got too close to a candle during a party.

“With my kind of luck, if you don’t think it’s funny, you’re pretty much screwed for life,” she confessed.

Hernandez set up a GoFundMe page that he to said was meant to provide Chase a “sense of home and peace in her final days.”

Her former manager told Deadline Chase’s final expenses were covered by her family and estate while questioning Hernandez’s motivation. Hernandez insisted to TMZ that the fundraiser was on the level.
