NEW YORK — Veteran anchor Lesley Stahl has reportedly signed a deal to remain at “60 Minutes” despite the departure of several colleagues due to management changes.

The 84-year-old reached an agreement with CBS executives that will keep her with the network through 2028, according to media reporter Oliver Darcy’s Status newsletter.

Her decision comes days after she and her co-hosts, Bill Whitaker and Jon Wertheim, penned a letter to “60 Minutes” staffers vowing to stick with the embattled news program as it enters its 59th season.

Terms of Stahl’s new agreement aren’t known. CBS News couldn’t be reached for a request for comment. Her deal follows guarantees from Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison that “60 Minutes” is headed in the right direction, according to The Guardian.

“60 Minutes” has undergone significant changes since Skydance purchased CBS parent company Paramount in October and named Free Press founder Bari Weiss the network’s editor-in-chief.

Longtime reporter Scott Pelley was fired on June 2 after clashing with his new bosses during a staff meeting.

Pelley told the New York Times after his dismissal that it never occurred to him that the network he worked with for 37 years would cut him loose due to a disagreement with CBS brass.

“Oh gosh, furthest thing from my mind,” he said.

He alleges that CBS leadership pressured him to “inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story.”

Weiss addressed Pelley’s departure during a network conference call in which she said the two parties were unable to find common ground.

“I know I speak for myself, and I hope I speak for everyone here when I say that I’m only interested in working in a newsroom that is built on trust and mutual respect,” she said in a recording of that call obtained by The Guardian.
