Olivia Culpo has been on a "learning curve" as a mom.
The 34-year-old model and Christian McCaffrey, her husband, welcomed their daughter Colette in July 2025, and Olivia admits that she's been learning on the job as a mom.
The brunette beauty - who married Christian in 2024 - told People: "I think that like with anything new there's definitely a learning curve for everyone.
"So the first year, you're learning a lot about everybody's role, and I think you just have to try to put one another in each other's shoes. That takes a lot of understanding and figuring out each person's strong suit."
Christian plays for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL, and Olivia is determined to support her husband's sporting career.
She said: "We were going to go on a trip in July, when the football season starts, and I put myself in his shoes and thought, 'You won't want to be travelling during this time.' This is gonna be too much when this comes along, travelling with the baby.
"So that's an example of just, 'Let's not take this trip because I think it will be better for us to feel rejuvenated.' Now that we're all parents, rest time is really valuable and sometimes that's just being at home with each other."
Meanwhile, Olivia previously claimed that she "knew" Christian would be a "really good dad".
The model told Us Weekly: "I always knew he would be a really good dad because he's a really good person. He has a really good example because his parents are great."
Olivia is convinced that Christian will always be a "good example and protector" for their daughter.
She said: "He will be such a good example and protector to her. I know that she'll always be able to feel like she has someone who loves her more than anything. I feel like everybody deserves to feel that."
Olivia revealed, too, that she's close with her own dad, Peter Culpo.
The model shared: "I'm also so close with my dad, and I appreciate what a great father he is for me, and I really do feel like I'm a daddy's girl."
