Movie stars Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz 'don't discuss their work'

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz don't talk about their work at home.
The 57-year-old actor has been married to Penelope, 52, since 2010, and even though they've worked together a lot over the years, they never discuss their work at home.
Javier told Variety: "At home, we don't talk much about work.
"We don't have posters or photos or anything that reminds us of what we do for a living. We don't waste too much time talking about work, though we love what we do. We try to compartmentalise life and fiction."
Despite this, Javier loves the experience of working with his wife.
The actor - who has starred alongside Penelope in projects such as Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Bunker, their new psychological thriller film - shared: "It's a beautiful story that is going to help us see again. Because sometimes you are immersed in your daily s*** and the kids and the house, and it's like -- when do you sit down and look at each other again? When do you start to breathe again, and take the other person in?"
Penelope has worked with Javier at various points in her career - but she previously insisted she doesn't want to work with the award-winning actor "all of the time".
The acclaimed film star - who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona - relishes the experience of working with Javier, acknowledging that it's "more convenient" - but she still thinks it's important they don't do it too often.
She previously told Collider: "There is a lot of trust and there is a similar way of working, so of course, it's a great experience.
"But it's not something we want to do, all of the time, even if it's more convenient. We'll only do it when it makes perfect sense, like in this piece or Loving Pablo."
