LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's 15th wedding anniversary has been "filled with tears and worry".

The 43-year-old singer-songwriter took to social media to mark the milestone, but admitted she and her significant other - who have sons Mason, 22, and Jake, 19, together - haven't been able to celebrate as usual due to "very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family".

She wrote on Instagram: "we got to step away for 3 days amidst work and some very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family. it's been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours. (sic)"

While the pair have been going through a tough time of late, LeAnn is "so grateful" to have 52-year-old actor Eddie by her side, and she feels "proud" of what they have created.

She added: "day by day, we walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life… and god, i'm so grateful that it's with each other. we've been through so much in our 15 years as husband and wife. we know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending.

"i'm so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning. #hallelujah #happyanniversary #cabo

In another Instagram post, LeAnn wrote: "5 years of loving you. 15 years of making memories. your love is such a gift. and, with all that's taken place this year, i have new vows...

"happy 15th anniversary @eddiecibrian (sic)"

Eddie also took to Instagram to mark the couple's 15th wedding anniversary.

He posted: "Still burning after 15 years"

LeAnn replied with crying and heart emojis.

The couple married in 2011 at a private home in California.

LeAnn was previously wed to dancer Dean Sheremet from 2002 to 2010, and Eddie was married to TV personality Brandi Glanville from 2001 to 2010.
