Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner’s Coachella make-out may have taken the internet by surprise, but it was a long time coming for the Oscar-nominated “Frankenstein” star and reality staple.

The “Wuthering Heights” heartthrob, 28, and 30-year-old model have “been hanging out and getting to know each other the last couple months,” an insider told People.

Representatives for Elordi and Jenner did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.

It’s unclear when exactly the connection turned romantic, though the stars were seen chatting away at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last month, per People.

They were “making out and ‘all over each other'” during Justin Bieber’s Coachella after-party the first weekend of this year’s festival, several sources told celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi, which does not verify the information it’s given.

People reported that Elordi was also among the guests at Jenner’s birthday in 2022, when he was still best known for his role on “Euphoria.”

Elordi has been in an on-off relationship with Lori Loughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade — of college admissions scandal infamy — since late 2021. Following a summer 2025 split, she waited in the wings as Elordi walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Though an insider told People the next month that the pair were “fully over,” they were again spotted together this January, only for a source in February to insist their relationship was done for good.

Jenner, meanwhile, has had a slew of high-profile romances, most notably with rapper Bad Bunny for most of 2023, and NBA star Devin Booker, from June 2020 to late 2022. Jenner and Booker were reportedly “navigating a restart” in early 2024 and still sparking reconciliation rumors later that year.

If Elordi and Jenner have indeed taken their relationship to the next level, she’d be the second of her sisters to date an Oscar-nominated actor. Little sister Kylie is in a long-term relationship with Timothée Chalamet, who, like Elordi, was a contender at this year’s ceremony.
