Josh Allen wants to win the Super Bowl to set a good example for his daughter.
The 29-year-old sports star and Hailee Steinfeld, his wife, welcomed their baby girl into the world earlier this month, and Josh has revealed that he's now doubly committed to winning on the football field.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the new NFL season, the Buffalo Bills star said: "That want to win will never change. The why I want to do it has. So why I want to do it is to show my family, to show my daughter how hard you need to work in order to accomplish something so great. And as long as I play this game, that's going to be my mindset."
Josh will celebrate his 30th birthday in May, but he doesn't see himself slowing down anytime soon.
The sports star quipped: "I'm not too sure on the science of the athletic peak of a male, but I think it's slightly beyond 30. And then hopefully the dad strength kicks in, right?"
Meanwhile, Hailee recently claimed that she's "stepping into [her] own as a woman".
The 29-year-old actress believes that her starring role in Sinners, the Ryan Coogler-directed horror movie, came to her at the perfect time in her life.
Hailee - who starred alongside Michael B Jordan in the movie - told Bustle: "This role wouldn't have existed in my life at any other time.
"It made sense in that this is where I'm at in my life. I'm stepping into my own as a woman, understanding who I am in every sense of the word. I'm such a firm believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason.
"Timing is everything. Where I'm at professionally, mentally, emotionally -- if this part had come into my life any sooner, I wouldn't have been able to take it on."
Hailee launched her Beau Society newsletter during the SAG strike in 2023, and she's been able to reach her fans through the platform.
She said: "It has been this really great connective way to reach people. We get to talk about everything from the layers that exist in Sinners to this avocado hummus."
