A guide to Beatles on the Beach 2026: Why you can't miss this Fab Four fest in its new venue
Published in Entertainment News
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Thousands of Beatlemaniacs will come together this weekend for the kaleidoscope of music, art and ob-la-di, ob-la-da euphoria that is Beatles on the Beach, this time in a new location at Mizner Park in Boca Raton.
Rolling out across multiple venues Thursday through Sunday, the annual festival, which has taken place in downtown Delray Beach since its debut in 2019, will include myriad events — from brunches to book signings and, of course, plenty of live music.
Two of the main events at Beatles on the Beach 2026 will be a performance at Mizner Park Amphitheater by Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience, hosted by the Oscar-winning actor, and an exhibit at the Boca Raton Museum of Art of original works created by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
The Pied Pepper of all this activity, festival founder and Delray Beach resident Daniel Hartwell, says the move to Mizner Park came after Boca Raton city officials “rolled out the red carpet” for his Yellow Submarine. He says the new location is larger and, with its 4,200-capacity amphitheater and nearby museum, shops, restaurants and bars, is a perfect home for Beatles on the Beach.
“It was a good time to move it to a bigger spot. We had been running out of room in Delray Beach, and Boca Raton contacted us. They said, ‘Here’s a great amphitheater, and we’re going to cover it for you.’ So, rain or shine, the entire amphitheater is covered,” Hartwell says.
A number of Mizner Park hot spots will join in with themed decor, happy hours, menu items and ticketholder discounts, including Tryst, Max’s Grille, Villagio and Yard House.
The festival, which Hartwell says typically draws 3,000 to 5,000 people per day, will send a portion of the proceeds to his United We Rock Foundation, which provides musical instruments, education and mentorship to people facing economic and medical challenges.
A longtime concert promoter in his native New England, Hartwell says some of his favorite music memories have happened at Beatles on the Beach, which has hosted performances by Cheap Trick, Night Ranger, Edgar Winter and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees.
Hartwell’s favorite BOTB story comes from the first one in 2019, when he met Beatles drummer Ringo Starr backstage, presenting him with a copy of Hartwell’s 2017 fantasy novel “Saint John Lennon,” which he signed for Starr.
“Not only did I meet a Beatle, but I was able to sign an autograph for a Beatle,” Hartwell says, with a laugh.

Greatest hits
Opening day: Beatles on the Beach opens with a free concert at Biergarten Boca Raton on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. with a lineup that will include drummer Gregg Bissonette, from Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band, Portuguese Beatles tribute band the Peakles, and others. Thursday night at Biergarten also means half-off pizza and beer boots.
Beatles art: The Boca Raton Museum of Art will host “The Art of Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon & George Harrison” from Thursday through Sunday. Presented by art collector Neal Glaser — “Ringo’s right-hand man,” Hartwell says — the show will include boldly expressive and quietly introspective original works by the four Beatles.
Talking Beatles: Tom Frangione and Caitlin Larkin from SiriusXM’s The Beatles Channel will attend several events around Boca Raton during the weekend, including a Beatles, Bites & Brews meet-and-greet at Tryst on Friday from 12:30 to 2 p.m.; a discussion titled “A Day in the Life” at the Boca Raton Historical Society on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and closing events at Biergarten Boca Raton on Sunday from noon to 7:30 p.m.
All Paul: Live & Let Die: A Symphonic Tribute to Paul McCartney will be at Mizner Park Amphitheater on Friday at 8 p.m. This multimedia performance features Tony Kishman, who spent six years with the national and international tours of the hit Broadway musical “Beatlemania,” with an orchestra led by veteran South Florida conductor Luis David Aguilar. Note: Gates open at 5 p.m. for opening acts. The general-admission lawn area is standing room, with guests encouraged to bring chairs.
Blues and Beatles: Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience goes on at 8 p.m. Saturday at Mizner Park Amphitheater with Freeman scheduled to be on hand. The actor will guide a performance from the house band at Ground Zero Blues Club — his Clarksdale, Mississippi, music hall and restaurant — in an evening of blues history and stories from “America’s only real classical music,” with a few detours into the Beatles’ canon. Note: Gates open at 3 p.m. for opening acts. The general-admission lawn area is standing room, with guests encouraged to bring chairs.
Closing day: The festival will close on Sunday with activities at Biergarten Boca Raton, beginning with a Beatles trivia contest at 11:30 a.m., followed by a drum clinic from Gregg Bissonette from 12:45 to 2:45 p.m., and live performances by Caruso, School of Rock Boca Raton, and Mike Kozak and Ticket to Ryde, among others.
