“Stranger Things” star David Harbour exhibited some bizarre behavior at a bar over the weekend, when he took a stranger’s hat at a Southern California bar.

An eyewitness told TMZ that a stranger initially approached the two-time Emmy nominee, 50, on Saturday at Encinitas Ale House near San Diego, while the native New Yorker was flanked by a friend. The pal told the newcomer he and Harbour were meeting up with some women, with Harbour then saying, “No, let’s go to this guy’s house.”

Finding the remark off-putting, the man left the actor and his friend to their own devices, after which Harbour entered the bar, took the man’s hat and ran off. He spiked the hat on the ground, asked patrons about the Iraq War and at one point kneeled to pray, per TMZ.

Video viewed by the outlet showed Harbour grabbing the hat and taunting its owner, “C’mon, dude f–ing get me,” with the man ultimately taking the bait and following.

“What the f– did I do to you, dude?” he asked, before others also joined the pair, with one woman begging the men not to “get into a fight.” Her prayers were answered as the interaction remained strange though nonviolent.

Reps for Harbour did not immediately return the Daily News’ request for comment.

An insider told TMZ he surmised the interaction may have stemmed in part from recent “public scrutiny” of his personal life.

In October, Harbour’s estranged wife Lily Allen released her album, “West End Girl,” which is chock-full of nods to his alleged infidelity.

Within weeks, “Stranger Things” producers had to respond to reports that star Millie Bobby Brown had accused Harbour of bullying and harassment. However, later that month, 21-year-old Brown told Deadline she felt “safe” working with Harbour and “everyone on that set.”
