Taylor Swift shouts out boyfriend Travis Kelce at VMAs

NEW YORK — Taylor Swift gave fans a taste of her love story with Travis Kelce Wednesday when revealing he brings “happiness and fun and magic” to every situation.
While accepting the video of the year for “Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)” at the MTV Video Music Awards, the Grammy winner, 34, acknowledged the Kansas City Chiefs tight end as her biggest supporter on set of the music video.
“This video seems very sad when you watch it but it actually was like the most fun video to make,” she said. “And something that I’ll always remember is when I would finish a take … I would always just hear someone cheering and like, ‘Woo!’ from across the studio. … And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”
The audience erupted in applause as it’s the first time she has acknowledged Kelce, 34, in an acceptance speech. “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. So I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot.”
Earlier Wednesday, the Super Bowl champ — and inspiration for Swift’s “The Alchemy” and “So High School” — rooted for his girlfriend to bring home “a few” wins.
Early last week, Kelce’s reps slammed a forged “break up plan” for the lovers, who have been together since summer 2023.
Swift then cheered on Kelce at the Chiefs’ season opener win Sept. 5, and the pair was snapped on multiple dates in and around New York City last weekend.
