Jodie Turner-Smith files for divorce from Joshua Jackson after nearly 4 years of marriage

After nearly four years of marriage, Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson are headed for splitsville.
According to TMZ, “irreconcilable differences” is cited as the reason for the divorce, which was filed by prominent divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Her past clientele has included Kim Kardashian, Kevin Costner and Britney Spears.
The couple have no prenuptial agreement in place, and Turner-Smith is requesting 50-50 shared custody of the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Juno.
Turner-Smith, 37, and the 45-year-old “Dawson’s Creek” alum secretly wed in late 2019. Based in Los Angeles, the pair welcomed their first child, a daughter, in April 2020.
Jackson first met the British beauty It was at Usher’s 40th birthday party in 2018. In April, he revealed to Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” that he knew he wanted to marry her “when she walked into the room” that first night.
For a while, the feelings seemed to be mutual.
“When I met Josh and one of the biggest reasons why I married him, wanted him to be my husband, is because of how loved and supported I felt by him,” Turner-Smith said in a 2022 Forbes profile.
The divorce filing reportedly lists the couple’s date of separation as Sept. 13. Just a few days earlier, they were out together at J.Crew’s 40th anniversary party at NYC’s Rooftop at Pier 17.
