Barron Trump has a new venture -- with a South Florida man vibe

MIAMI — Being raised in South Florida, Barron Trump knows about scorching hot summers.

And now President Donald Trump’s youngest son, 20, has started a beverage line to help folks quench their thirst in the warmest season.

Called Sollos, a play on the word “sol” for Spanish, it’s a yerba mate —a naturally caffeinated herbal tea from South America that’s become a trendy alternative to chemical-laden energy drinks.

The NYU Stern School of Business sophomore — he transferred to the D.C. campus last year — is listed as a director of Sollos, along with four other partners, according to public business filings.

The Palm Beach-based company first teased the product in late March on Instagram with a man in silhouette (doesn’t appear to be Barron) taking a swig of the stuff near a beach.

A follow-up April 1 post showed a box of Sollos floating on a surfboard telling potential consumers that a 12-pack in a Pineapple + Coconut flavor will be available in May. Hashtags included #createdinacabana, #Florida and #America.

On Thursday, another tease says that the “perfect summer drink” is nearing the rollout, with a video of cans on a conveyor belt in a factory. You are directed to the official website, sollos.com, where you can sign up for a newsletter for updates.

In the comments section, people were uncharacteristically kind, perhaps because they weren’t aware that a member of the polarizing political family was attached to the project. Most just wanted to know where it was available, and the company responded “online everywhere,” adding they will ship to international locations.

The beverage line also has a page on LinkedIn, with a picture of a sunset.

“A lifestyle beverage brand built around yerba mate and clean, functional ingredients,” reads the description.

Don’t look for Barron to make any announcements on social media. The New York-born scion doesn’t have an account anywhere, thanks to his famously protective mom, first lady Melania Trump.
