Technicians find kitten in car's engine during oil change
Published in Cats & Dogs News
(UPI) Technicians at a Saskatchewan auto dealership made a surprising discovery under the hood of a car brought in for an oil change -- a trapped kitten.
Kianna Daniels, service adviser at Lakeland Hyundai in Prince Albert, said she and the car's owner both heard a strange noise under the hood of the vehicle, so she opened it to investigate.
Daniels discovered a kitten with its paw stuck in the engine.
The service adviser and a coworker were able to safely extract the kitten from its predicament.
The feline was taken to a veterinarian to be treated for minor burns and will have a new home with a dealership employee.
