'A HAUNTING IN VENICE'

Rated PG-13 for some strong violence, disturbing images and thematic elements.

What it’s about: Ten years after "Death on the Nile," Detective Hercule Poirot is back to investigate a medium at a seance in Venice.

The kid attractor factor: Perhaps there's an appeal for kids who love Agatha Christie mysteries and spooky movies that aren't too violent.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Everyone manages their own relationship to the scary and tragic things in life in their own ways.

Parents’ advisory: OK for older kids and teens who love spooky mysteries and the macabre.
