Auto review: 2026 Infiniti QX60 delivers luxury for a price
Published in Automotive News
As Nissan Motor Co.’s upscale brand, Infiniti has to do everything it can to keep up and get ahead of the competition. This was evident in our recent week-long test of the 2026 Infiniti QX60 Autograph AWD, which exceeded expectations.
This three-row luxury crossover SUV shares a similar footprint as the Nissan Pathfinder while boasting Nissan-like features and specifications with added Infiniti flare. Powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine producing 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque with matched a nine-speed automatic transmission, the Infiniti QX60 did a good job getting up to speed. Riding on 20-inch wheels, the QX60 brings plenty of power to the table and with a refreshed exterior styling similar to the recently refreshed QX80. Plus, its Emerald Green paint makes for a head-turning vehicle.
Standard features on our Autograph-trim tester included massaging front seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch center console infotainment system. Technology is a top priority for the Infiniti brand, which has focused heavily on maximizing user experience for the past few years. Our tester included an upgraded Technology Package for an additional $3K, which included a 2nd-row center console, ProPilot assist and 3D around view monitor with spin capability. The technology was easy to use – a major plus, given most infotainment systems in recent years have gotten progressively harder to navigate.
As a fan of the third-row luxury crossover SUV, Infiniti has always had an uphill battle with their sales figures, given their fleet's pricing has been less competitive while their interior and user experience has provided no real thrills. With this recent generation refresh, the QX60 proves itself to be far beyond a Nissan Pathfinder.
