Enough "yes" votes have been cast by United Auto Workers members employed at Ford Motor Co. to ratify a new four-and-a-half-year deal, according to an analysis by The Detroit News, the third and final approval needed to wrap up negotiations with the Detroit Three.

At Ford, more than 68% of votes cast among hourly workers at reporting locals supported the tentative agreement, according to the UAW's vote tracker, after results from Dearborn Truck Plant were added on Friday. That leaves 12,643 votes between the yes and no totals, more than the total hourly employees at the remaining locals yet to report.

The UAW in a letter obtained by The News late Thursday showed final ratification results for its agreement with General Motors Co. had almost 55% hourly support. GM hasn't commented on the ratification results.

The UAW's tracker of votes collected from Stellantis NV workers also showed that its deal with the transatlantic automaker would pass, according to a News analysis. The agreement was approved with nearly 70% support there as of Friday afternoon.

The record agreements that expire April 30, 2028, secure 27% general wage increases. They include cost-of-living adjustments, increased retirement contributions, and pathways to organizing workers at electric-vehicle assembly plants. Ford committed to $8.1 billion in U.S. investments.

Two locals had a majority of their voting members voting down the Ford deal. Kentucky Truck Plant, which has a reputation for voting down national agreements, dissented with close to 55% of voters turning thumbs-down on the deal. A majority of workers who voted at a parts distribution center in Lakeland, Florida, also voted "no."
