Roseanne Barr provided an update about her health, revealing to fans she may have to undergo surgery soon for a “damaged heart.”

Barr opened up about her fears and concerns during a recent episode of her podcast, the “Roseanne Barr Podcast.”

“This doctor says I have to go get my heart checked out because it’s damaged,” she explained.

“So now I’m so pissed because I’m like, I need a new doctor,” she continued. “He’s always sending me to other doctors to check me out, and I’m like, why do I have to go find something wrong when nothing’s wrong? And then get in shape so I can have surgery and die on the surgery table. I mean, well, it doesn’t make any sense.”

The ex-sitcom star further revealed she was wary of surgery, explaining that she would rather spend the end of her life in hospice care.

“I would rather not get ready for any sort of surgery ever again in my life and just get a heart attack or a stroke and just be put into a home,” she said. “That is the life. Living in the hospice. … That’s all I want. They know you’re dying and they give you morphine.”

In 2018, it was rumored Barr suffered a heart attack — after someone claiming to be her assistant called into a radio show and claimed she was in the hospital. Despite the fact that it was unfounded, the claim quickly went viral, prompting 73-year-old Barr to speak up.

“I’m fine,” she wrote on X at the time.

“I was the victim of a prank,” she later added. “I’ve had no medical issues. I’m spending time at home with my family and relaxing.”
