Winter's Bow
Winter takes its final bow just as the New Moon's intentions begin to stir. Yesterday planted the seed; tomorrow the Equinox tilts the light. And with Mercury retrograde drawing to a close, the static starts to clear. This is a hinge day -- not for bold moves, but for going within and using the Pisces projector of imagination to enjoy beautiful dreams.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). A seashell doesn't have to study sacred geometry; a flower has no need of the math that keeps it in perfect symmetry. Beauty has a way of coming together in the fold of nature's elegance. You'll witness it. You're part of it, too.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Find out what everyone else is really giving so you can contribute what is needed to a situation instead of duplicating or competing with the other things in the mix. Your contribution is vital to the success of the mission.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You didn't seek approval, but you got it anyway -- satisfying, but you're careful not to give it too much weight in your psyche, because it's a slippery slope to approval addiction. The approval that matters is your own.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Neuroscience shows that praise and admiration activate reward circuitry similar to food and other pleasures. Like a hungry heart or a craving mind, the ego is keen to be fed by delectable things like attention and social validation.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You don't assume you're right; you verify. That extra pass, that second look, that "what am I missing?" is your advantage. Confidence gets attention. Careful thinking avoids trouble. You choose the latter, and it pays off.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Today you'll be recognized, not for a headline achievement, but for the everyday ways you show up. The consistent decency. The small, thoughtful gestures. The way you treat people. The universe clinks a spoon against a glass to toast you.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). How do you know you've learned from your mistakes? When you notice that you're making different ones. Success proves you're getting something right, but new mistakes prove you're taking risks and fully living.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). A financial problem or issue of personal responsibility will be addressed. These are the kinds of topics that typically cause arguments. The solution here will bring peace to a relationship.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). It's one thing to gather for holidays, but it takes a special thought process to host for the sheer enjoyment of being with your favorite people. There's no better reason! Call a few friends and put together a plan for the weekend.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The good news and the bad news are the same: Many people simply aren't paying attention today, which presents both problems and opportunities, often in the same events. It's how you react that matters.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It's OK to walk on the sunny side of life and still throw a little shade, because you're a realist. No one is positive at all times and if they were, they would surely annoy others.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're not trying to make people feel special, but they will anyway, because of the warm and deep quality of attention you give -- steady, patient and genuinely curious. You'll create connections as you learn.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (March 19). Enter your Year of the Golden Bridge. You connect worlds, like art and income, family and ambition, romance and reason... and walk confidently between them. More highlights: Each season brings a distinct study or project. You'll stumble into effortless enjoyments -- you just say yes and go! Funding for a renovation comes through. The best fun is made possible by your open mind and heart. Scorpio and Capricorn adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 3, 28, 2 and 15.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Pisces artists are known to blur boundaries between self and role, and Glenn Close disappears so completely into her characters that they feel mythic rather than performed. From operatic intensity to soft vulnerability, emotional permeability is part of why the public can't look away. In recent years, she's balanced screen work with advocacy for mental health awareness, drawing from personal experience, and continues to take on complex, psychologically rich roles that prove her water sign magnetism isn't forceful, but tidal.
