Louis Partridge is to star in and produce indie movie One Last Summer.

The 23-year-old actor will appear alongside Mia Jenkins and Jude Carmichael in the coming-of-age film.

Partridge will join forces with a familiar face, because the movie is written and directed by Misha Citron, who was a video assist trainee and production assistant on 2020 movie Enola Holmes.

Speaking to Deadline about the new project, Partridge - who played Tewkesbury in Enola Holmes - said: "As an actor and a first-time producer, I loved leaning into true creative collaboration.

"Our aim being to make the film for ourselves, as young people to enjoy first and foremost.

"In doing so, we hope to create something simultaneously specific and with universal scope."

Citron - who has co-founded Pipe Dream Films alongside Partridge - added: "I wanted to create a dynamic between the ensemble that reflected the charge and intimacy of youth, feeling the sweetness of attraction that is cruelly muddied by inevitable insecurity, fear, and, often unfortunately at this age, grief."

One Last Summer, which has wrapped in Tuscany, Italy, will see Partridge's character Milo as he travels to Italy alongside his best friend Zac (Carmichael) to visit the home of his late, estranged father.

What begins as an emotional reckoning quickly shifts gears when Milo is convinced to go on a double date with two American travelers.

While the evening starts on a high note, the dynamic sharply unravels, forcing each character to confront their past selves, their current identities, and what they are ultimately leaving behind. Described as a poignant exploration of youth, the film aims to capture the unique intensity and lasting impact of brief relationships.

In 2024, Partridge - who previously dated pop megastar Olivia Rodrigo for around two years - admitted he didn't view himself as a celebrity because he still lived with his parents.

He told GQ Hype at the time: "I guess living at home kind of helps: I'm hardly living the high life. You can sort of entertain it for a little bit, but I think it's important to drop it as soon as possible."

Partridge is also known for appearing in FX miniseries Pistol, Apple TV miniseries Disclaimer, and, more recently, Netflix historical drama series House of Guinness, which dropped in 2025.
