Aaron Rodgers will "never" post photos of his family on social media after their reconciliation.

The 42-year-old sports star was previously embroiled in a years-long estrangement from his family, who accused Aaron of deliberately distancing himself from them, and last month, he credited his wife, Brittani, for their reunion.

And now Aaron wants to keep personal matters away from the spotlight.

Speaking to USA Today Sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback said: "I feel like it was part of the full-circle nature of this last season for me.

"There's been a narrative out there. There's not been a lot of information that's truthful about it. And I think that the personal life should stay personal and private.

"But I feel like it was part of the full circle to just one time post something, and never again. So that that narrative can finally be put to rest."

In July, Aaron said reconnecting with his was a "beautiful" process.

He said on Good Morning Football: "A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together.

"It's been a couple-year process now, the conversations with them."

Aaron has relished reuniting with his parents, Darla and Ed Rodgers, and his older brother, Luke Rodgers.

He shared: "I've been very closed off about that part of my life, and I want to keep it that way.

"But there's been a narrative that's gone on for too long that I kind of wanted to shut down, and it's been really beautiful to reconnect with them, all of them."

The NFL player previously revealed that he was relishing married life.

Aaron - who intends to retire at the end of the current season - told the NFL Network: "When you meet the right one, and you're with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there's no better feeling in the world, and I have the most incredible wife."
