NEW YORK — Karlie Kloss has spoken briefly about Taylor Swift’s “special” wedding to Travis Kelce after fans were shocked to see the supermodel show up at her seemingly estranged friend’s Madison Square Garden extravaganza.

Kloss, 33, and the 36-year-old pop superstar were considered pretty inseparable during Swift’s “1989” era in the 2010s, though fans have speculated there was a falling out in the years since.

This accounted for a great many headlines after Kloss and husband Joshua Kushner were photographed en route to the July 3 midtown wedding, attended by a reported thousand-plus people, many of them A-listers.

“Listen, I try to protect the privacy of my friends’ personal lives,” Kloss told the “Today” show Tuesday. “But what I will say is that they’re an amazing couple and I’m so happy for them.”

Speculation about the wedding was at an all-time high in the run-up to the nuptials of Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 36.

The streets surrounding the World’s Most Famous Arena were shuttered to the public for much of the Fourth of July weekend, though that didn’t stop dedicated Swifties from congregating in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the bride, or at least some of what was transpiring inside.

Though neither Swift nor Kelce have shared images from the festivities, some of their starry guests have posted photos of their looks, while others have discussed how “intimate” it felt, despite the 1,100 to 1,200 guests.

Among the many famous faces who attended the wedding were Adam Sandler, who officiated, as well as Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff and the Haim sisters, with performances by Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney.
