'MOANA'

Rated PG for action/peril, some scary images, rude humor and brief thematic elements.

What it’s about: The young princess Moana is chosen by the ocean to return the heart of Te Fiti in order to save her island and she teams up with the demigod Maui to do so (same plot as the first movie!).

The kid attractor factor: The familiarity with the original animated Moana, the songs, the story, the heartwarming and adventurous tale.

Good lessons/bad lessons: You can find what you need to do within yourself.

Violence: Some perilous and dangerous sequences and situations.

Language: None, just a couple of naughty-ish jokes.

Sex: None

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: Appropriate for kids of all ages.

'GAIL DAUGHTRY AND THE CELEBRITY SEX PASS'

Rated R for sexual content, violence/bloody images and language.

What it’s about: A small-town girl faces a crisis in her relationship when her fiancé acts on his "celebrity sex pass," so she heads to L.A. to set things right.

The kid attractor factor: Not much, this is a silly comedy aimed at adults.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Sometimes being a delusional dreamer pays off. Things always work out.

Violence: Some extreme and jarring violence.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: A couple of extended sex scenes (no nudity) and multiple references to sex.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is better for adults and mature teens.
